In a parallel world, Ezra never returned to Johor after completing his doctorate and hence the events of Persona: Shattered Dreams never happened. While this fact meant that many characters were spared grief, Ezra suffered even more in his isolation and denial.
When he was working in Kuala Lumpur, he had been contracted by an organization to analyze and develop algorithms to generate strange, complex patterns. A few days after completion, he dropped by the organization's headquarters in neighbouring Singapore and discovered a terrible truth about their intentions.
Ten months later, the Causeway connecting Malaysia and Singapore was destroyed in a series of giant explosions. The country also found itself under a lockdown enforced by other Southeast Asian nations, with rumours that a severe viral plague has been unleashed upon the island.
By this time, he has sent a number of modified iPhones to specific people - unbeknownst to him, some of them knew about his plans and abandoned the phones, leaving them for people like Kai to pick up and use.
Ultimately, the only one who matters to him is the one destined to become the Devadatta, the mount of the final Avatara. The demon, a black mirror of the Preserver, simmers within him at the thought. He knows his time is close to an end. At the very least he will see to it that for even a fraction of a second, the Great Will shall have no choice but to pay for His own sins.

Since nobody else is guessing I'll take a stab at it and guess that the one on the right is Beelzebub's human form, Baal Zebul (since the one on the left has already been guessed).
If memory serves the guy has had like 3 names used for him though, so I just went with his Persona 4 name.
