Last year was the first year of a new con in Danbury CT. It was a much smaller and low key con, but I really enjoyed. Several people's birthdays were in the month of September (when the con took place) so the got a big cake big enough to feed everyone. It was super sweet. Definitely check out the con this year if it isn't too far.
