Variant: 3rd Gen 'Battle Cat' model with dual AI interface
Purpose: Experimental Conjoined AI Close Combat Melee.
An experimental unit created by joint British and French companies the 'Liger' unit as it was called is the result of mixing 2 separate AI modules into a single frame. The frame is a blend of the British Lion model which focuses on power while the French Tiger focuses on agility and maneuverability. Since she is an experimental BEAST type, she's the only one of her kind.
Her combat abilities focus mainly on melee combat with her 'Cats Paws' which are a pair of freakishly large glove like weapons with massive claws that are able to cleave tank armor with ease. These weapons fit over her regular arms which house a special surprise for anyone that guesses she only has close range capabilities. Her gloves have high velocity thrusters mounted in the sleeves which launch the gloves at high speed at a moments notice. With multiple smaller guidance thrusters on various points on the glove, it operates as a nonexplosive guided missile. The gloves can be reattached once fired, though they cannot return to the unit under their own power. Without the gloves the unit is highly skilled in various martial arts and also has another special ability which the unit likes to call "Kitten Knuckle." Her forearms are launched from just below her elbow at high speed and are connected via high tension cables which allow the limbs to reach out to 100 meters and retract back quickly. Unlike her launched gloves, her arms are unguided though she can still move about to change their trajectory, not to mention still use her hands as well. Her favorite attack was to use one ungloved arm to grab a flying target, and drag it to either a waiting claw or fist. Her Paw and Knuckle attack can be used in junction with one another and can decimate infantry and tank formations with her "Claw Dance" attack where she dances around with the skill of an acrobat while slicing through her targets.
Background Information:
Codenamed "Liger" due to the mix of Lion and Tiger type chassis, the experimental unit suffers from a rare programming glitch that only seems to affect dual AI units. She suffers from a 'split-personality' glitch that occurs when the unit is excited above a certain level usually during prolonged combat and in few cases when doing non combat duties. The passive AI personality dubbed Cat'hleen, is comparable to that of a kitten. Curious, playful, and rather friendly.
The aggressive AI personality called Kat'herine, is cold, sadistic, and possibly insane. Unfortunately Kat seems to pop out at the worst possible moments and is more of a liability to her team mates than to her enemies. During a combat mission, Kat suddenly took hold and decimated enemy formation. However, instead of taking prisoners, she slowly and painfully tortured the survivors. Shortly after, once she calmed down, Cat returned and was shocked at what she did. When she was scheduled to be scrapped, she panicked, and Kat took hold and went berserk. She damaged much of the base she was in until she encountered the Artemis director that was supervising the mission, Lawrence Ryder. Unlike the others in the base, he wasn't afraid of her condition and managed to calm her down by talking to her. He offered to keep her safe and purchased her from her creators, who were more than happy to be rid of her, and make a small profit. Cat/Kat now swears her loyalty to the director and constantly shows it be it her playful attitude as Cat, or her seductive flirtings as Kat.
She get's along with the rest of her team in her friendly mode, so much that the others think of her as annoying. But on occasions when her aggressive side rears her head, she is down right disrespectful to them, save for the mouse unit Squeaks, which she seems to enjoy tormenting with advances that border on molestation.

It's going too much into detail which prevented me from making an actual fantasy comic years ago. I make too much background information on characters and scriptwork for stories that I just get flooded with notes and other info. Great for tabletop RPGs, not so great for comic and the artists that I hired.
Still, I enjoy giving the characters life so to speak. ^_^

The director has gotten the nickname as the "Zookeeper" for all the various models that he keeps, including the very special bunny maid that got customized for him. I like to think of the group as not just a bunch of bad luck misfits, but a special group that can do things others can't.
Either that or Lawrence has a perverted fantasy of having an robo animal girl harem, but we haven't seen him have his bunny maid force the team into maid outfits...yet. ^_^
