I use the "Dogmeat is not a companion" mod for a very long time now, so i can always have that cute fluffy doggo around me even if i want someone who can hold a gun at my side whats mostly Cait because i like her.
On top of that i set his size to 1.5 and gave him the best canine armor i could find.

Hehe, thats a scouter from Dragonball. The mod is called "Dogmeat Scouter" or someting like this. It stayed on as i put the armor on him and i thougt it looked way cooler than the closed helmet of the armor that looks more like a night vision system with red lens. (Its customizable so i made the helmet open because i love dogmeats smile! XD)
