(that's a fuckgIN LIE)
Yeah I know I haven't posted in like, two weeks. I have just been super deprived of energy. and also started off the new semester on a very shaky foot. Both in the sense that it has been a hard week and the fact that in order to fill in some credits I had to start an online jogging class (Yep those exist) at BYU (Yep a Mormon college, I had to take what I can get). And I'm not 100% recovered yet, so all I can really do at the moment is walk (I was able to log almost 3 mi yesterday in 50 min though, so I feel like jogging at least 60 miles within 3 months shouldn't be too difficult)
Additionally, I was a little physically depressed on Friday and Saturday, as Thursday was immensely stressful. This was because every school and college in my city was in a LOCKDOWN because there was a FOUR HOUR POLICE CHASE for an ARMED CONVICT and we were all, of course, afraid of a shooting. My paranoia riddled mind plus hypochondria equals psychosomatic weariness hitting me like a train the next day.
Summed up, I haven't really had a whole lot of energy to draw, but hopefully this week won't be so fucking insane.

Oh thats not so bad. I'm not so lucky. Tho I AM lucky that the law school section forgoes the main campus' dogmatic BS so that they can keep their ABA accreditation. Basically the ABA accreditation determines if a college's diploma is valid or not. And they like to be neutral toward religions.
Mormons are pretty polite and quiet, but you are right that it's good to have a fair bit of distance out. But the dogmatic things are a bit of a drawback, i've had some friends go out there and come back and they said that there were all these really cheesy videos on things like 'keeping the holiness of the spirit' at the dorms banning any pg13+ movie and distractions.
I didn't go to BYU, but i had some 'aspiring' roommates out at the school i went to. So, since the only safe things they could really watch were church bible movies and disney movies, almost literally without getting in trouble. We had a cooking dorm out there, and we all shared (well, i mostly bought 90% of them, and they 'borrowed' them, but spices last forever, so i figured it wouldn't be a biggie), panicked when he saw i got a sampler tin of Gunpowder Green tea and some Earl grey tea, and started trying to put them down the disposal to remove the house from unclean things. He jammed the disposal and we had to call the dorm plumber to get it out.
But hey, at least they were at least pretty laid back, compared to my past roommate who blasted the tv every night and the other one who (later) got evicted a few months after crashing a dirtbike into a cop's car under the influence after a trip to colorado and carrying all these "legalize marijuana 420" stickers on him. Needless to say, they were not too amused by it. XD
