Of course, I hope to return. I climbed deseret peak instead, because the weather was bad on that day, but we went to arches a few days later and it was red hot ^^;
Didn't spend too long in escalante, but we did go off road for a bit there, which was interesting too.
I love that place!

It was quite a big road trip, so we didnt get long in any place. Only had the one day in arches, however we saw quite a lot of it.
We went down antelope canyon and took loads of photos there, but had to get up to bryce on the same day, so didnt do much else, just a short walk up to these interesting rock formations.
Sometimes I cant believe that we actually did all that we did there. Its so different to the countryside back here in the uk.

Hah, yeah, UK countryside is definitely different from Utah. Sounds like an awesome road trip! Glad you enjoyed our state!
I've never actually been to Antelope Canyon, haha. I've heard it's cool! And Bryce is amazing, I was down there for a few days right before New Year's. Looking down into the canyon is incredible! Which reminds me I need to process all my photos...
Were the rock formations you saw like rocks sticking straight up out of the ground? If so, those are called hoodoos. It's a fun name, haha.

Bryce was just as good as grand canyon, in my opinion. We could wander down amongst the hoodoos there, which was awesome, without having to climb 5000 feet to get out of it. ^^; That and Zion, they both seem more "intimate" then the vastness of the grand canyon. Antelope canyon was gorgeous, we picked the right time of the day for it when all the colours were out.
I need to sort out all my photos, my mum lost all of hers. The memory card got corrupted
Those hoodoos, in escalante we saw, I think were called the red toadstool, near to pania canyon.

Yeah, they're much more involved than the Grand Canyon. Being able to actually walk through everything, instead of look down into a canyon, is much more interesting. Zions is cool, but the only thing I've really done there was Observation Point, which is like an 8 mile hike, haha.
Dang, corrupted memory cards are the worst! At least you had a couple people taking pictures, though.
I don't think I've seen the Red Toadstool. The main thing I do in Escalante is hike the slot canyons. If you ever go back, I recommend finding them - either those, or the Narrows in Zion. It's a one-of-a-kind experience, to be in a canyon filled with water where you can touch both walls!

Yeah, we only had a day at the grand canyon, so just walked around the rim for a bit
In Zion, we climbed onto Angels landing, and saw some of the "dried up" waterfalls. The narrows was interesting, would loved to have got further up into the gorge, my mum lost her watch there (she hasnt had much luck with things on this trip XD) but we didnt have much time.
I could talk about the trip all day, if you would rather me chat about it on an IM or via notes or something, its up to you. ^^; I dont mind either way.
