She was fearsome, she was ice and crystal and the very aurora above. The intruders did not have a chance. No lance could pierce her hide, no bow could chip her scales. She was powerful, and she was overwhelming. She was everything, the snow and cold and light.
But these intruders did not relent, and she took action.
The light rumbled deep within her, jaws opening as the energy gathered in a perfect white sphere.
A rainbow shot from the sphere, and her magnificence lit up the night sky.
