Pipskeeps are small bird like creatures that lives in hollow trees in the forest in packs of 20-30 induviduals, called a fluff. No mating behaviour have been observed and often the females just suddenl carry an egg in their pouches. They get eggs between Dec-Feb that hatches around Jun-Aug. The egg and baby is carried in the females pouch for safety and warmth but makes her unable to fly. Their diet consists of:
Berries, Fruit, Mushrooms, small insects, invertibrates, plants (flowers, herbs) and roots. The entire pack helps to gather food and water for the entire pack, with exception of carrying females.
Between Oct-Mar so does the fluff go into a herbination, this is when the eggs are showing up in the pouches.
They are as small as finches and is able to fly and has hands on the inside of their wings.
They can have any color but their face is always white as well as their feet and hands. They never have any "Sharp" markings and never bright colors due to having many preditors as birds of pray, foxes, snakes, cats ect. Their eyes are black and their tongue and pawpads are the same pink for all induviduals. Females are slightl smaller than males but they all weight the same, except the carrying females. The babies has a very small beak, a round face and is all white all over, they also have no paws since their wings are too small.
They have long tongues and it is unknown why. They are very social and takes care of each other. They can be seen grooming or feeding carrying females who has a hard time doing it herself. The eggs seem to have the colors of the adult pipskeep even tho the baby is entirely white.
Don't mind my bad sketch or the bright colors, it is more a visual for me. I came up with these while falling asleep and I want to let anyone who wants to make one able to.
If you make one, credit me for the species. No NSFW art or rp's since they don't have that, their eggs just appear. Also only make common for uncommon is reserved for adoptables and contests.
