Odd fact. I always looked older than I was growing up. When I was 15, people thought I was in my 20's and a mother. When I was 18, restaurants quoted alcohol selections at me because I looked old enough to drink. Now, I've been told I look like I'm still in my early 20's and don't look very different than when I was 18. So... I just tell people my real age because I don't look it anyway.
Been there... at least partially. In my teens, I volunteered at my local hospital for three years or so, from age 14 to 18. Patients and visitors frequently mistook me for an orderly or a doctor, even when I first started there. Now I look every minute of my real age.
Same with me, but younger in my case. I've looked young for my age for several years. I'm 31 and I look 18. Hehe. If I ever wanted to drink, which I never really will as I don't drink, I'd have to show ID as they might not believe I'm over 21. Heh... but it won't happen as I don't drink.
