As the fight in the arena intensified, Senator Amidala began to feel weary. The vicious scratch she had received across her back from the Nexu was hurting like hell.
As the pain grew worse, Padme collapsed to the ground. She watched in horror as her left arm began to grow fur and transform into the left foreleg of the very creature that attacked her. Soon, the pain spread to her face as her skull widened, sharp fangs and extra eyes beginning to grow in her head.
Eventually, Padme was completely transformed. She wasn't a full Nexu, but a hybrid of one and a human. She stood on her hind legs, surrounded by fighting Jedi and droids. Padme may have become a beast, but her mind was still fully human. She quickly leapt into a formation of Battle Droids and began to easily tear them apart.
