Being a tomboy like her stepsister Iris, Poupou is not really affraid of guns, even if she's not especially a gun enthusiast like the silly vixen.
She accepted with pleasure to go at the range and try some weapons, even powerful ones like .44 Magnum
To shoot was a lot of fun for her, the friendly atmosphere at the range was very nice too, she ended up taking a member card.
After few sessions with Iris's guns, she wanted to have her own ... but a pretty gun or nothing! She might be tomboyish, she likes pretty things ... well in fact she's a hello kitty fanatic

Very heavily restricted, you have to be member of a firing range, more pure than a angel and do tons of red tape to have one.
You have to renew the red tape every 5 years, renawal can be refused for no reason, and you can only have 12 weapons maximum amoung handguns and semi auto (hunting rifle are not counted in this limit)
Until now the magasine max capacity was 30, and full auto weapons converted to semi were OK.
New laws will put maximum capacity to 10 and all previously full-auto weapons will be banned, even if converted in semiautomatic, only pure civilian semi auto will be allowed.
So I'll have to say goodbye to my VZ-58.

Here where I am in my state we can have 30 round mags and up if we want but full auto rifles are heavily restricted as are short barrel shotguns and rifles though I did go through the hoops to build a short rifle. I want a suppressor badly too but those are also restricted, more paper work.
Not entirely. Here I can have parts shipped to my house except for the serialized lower receiver. That I have to get through a dealer and do a background check. But barrels, buffers, bolts, extractors, anything I can just order through the mail which is awesome. However, to get anything full auto the serialized part must be built before 1986 otherwise its a no no and it has to go through a class III dealer which means finger prints, photos, and up to a year wait for the papers to come back. I have a 8" barreled 300 aac AR and that took me two years to build just because of the paperwork.

Here protest is useless, unless you block road and put stuff on fire ...
And we're so few gun owner (a loooooooooooooot were tired and more and more restrictives laws and gave up, selling all theirs guns) they care even less, so ...
And they always have the "it's not our fault, it's the European Union! We can do nothing about it!" then you learn it's the exact same government who asked the EU parliament for more restrictive laws in the first place ...

By protest I mean write letters, take others shooting, talk about guns, etc.
Showing people that guns aren't evil, that they aren't just for killing, is the only way to get your rights back.
Otherwise rules are just made by the ignorant. We deal with that all the time here in the states.

Here firearms are very expensive and finding spare parts is a nightmare so no "do it yourself" ^^
And since every part is classified here (not just the lower) it would be very complicated if I must buy parts in different shops (since each time you must send the original copy of your govt authorization to own a weapon)
