"Well, is it done?"

"Yes, sire. We had to expend a great deal of magical energy but it has been done. She is exactly the way you requested."

"And her memories?"

"She remembers nothing. She only knows what we have shown her and she is highly... suggestive."

"Outstanding. Send her in."

"Yes sire, but there is one thing... there is no way of knowing precisely how long it will last."

"What do you mean?"

"We are unaware of how long the spells will remain in effect. There are many factors, her will, her own energy, her environment... it's likely she will begin to regain her memories first and it won't be much longer until she regains her physical form."

"Then you'll cast the spells again, blight it!"

"Th-that's just it, sire. If she breaks the spells, if she begins to resist, it will be harder to cast each time and their duration will be shorter. If she begins to fight it, there's no way we can keep her like this forever."

"Then we'll just have to keep her from fighting it then, won't we? Send her in. I'll have her spirits broken before the weeks is out. Then she'll be mine forever."
