I now mentioned Korons sword sometimes and he even used it. But where did he got it and who made it.

Salrie

The smithing dragon
„Salrie? Why do you have to live so far outside? I even had to left my car behind.“
That´s what Koron thought to himself, as he flew over the dense forest that lead to the home mountain of Salrie. A big white dragon, that send Koron an invitation. What does he want from the black Buizel? Probably a fight. They always want to fight. Well Salrie was a muscular dragon and proficent in crafting and using weapons, fighting him would sure be interesting. But can he stand with his claws against Salries weaponry?
Koron came closer and closer to the mountain and already spotted the entrance to Salries cave. It had a pathway leading to the entrance, which had a big dragon shaped stone, hanging right above it. Koron landed nearby the cave entrance and was still on guard, in case someone set up a welcome trap for him. So he carefully approached the impressive entrance and called out for the dragon:“ Hello? Salrie!? Are you home?“
A rumble went through the cave, like if Koron just woke up a force of nature. Heavy steps came towards him and a few seconds later, Salrie appeared in front of him.The big white dragon looked down to Koron and sets up a smile on his face:“ Koron! How nice of you, that you followed my invitation.“
Yeah,hi Salrie. I... HURFZ!“ Before Koron was even able to say anything else, he got captured into a hug of Salrie. The muscled dragon arms squezzed Korons buizel body like a squeaky toy:“ Air! Air!“
Gasped the poor black buizel and he got quickly released out of the dragon hug:“ Oh, oh sorry, little guy. I got a little bit excited, by your visit. It is not that often to have such a mighty guest like you here.“
Koron landed on the ground with his butt, and he needed to recover for a moment. A moment latter he got up and adjusted his hat, that slipped a bit to the side. Koron looked back up to the dragons face:“ So. I heard some stuff about you and you heard some stuff about me. But why the invitation with the mentioning of „something special“?“
The dragon made a nod:“ As you know, i have a big family and they tell me a lot. And whenever we get to the topic of you, they compliment you in big tones. And while i was listening to them. I thought about a special gift for you. Please follow me.“
Salrie went inside the cave and Koron followed and after a hallway deeper into the mountain, Koron found himself at a will lit grotto, with blue shimmering water. Also something magical was hanging about this place. Like if it was influenced by Salries presents. The dragon stopped and Koron bumped against the dragons tail, since he was astonished by the look of the grotto and didn´t noticed the the dragon in front of him stopped:“ Oh sorry Salrie. I didn´t meant to...“
But Salrie didn´t minded that:“ Heh, you wouldn´t be the first one who bumped into my back, by gazing over this beautifull place. The water is nice and refreshing, i love to take a swim in it. You can also take a little round. You are a water pokémon, right? You should love it to swim in here.“
Koron got nervous and waves his front paws:“ Uh no, i-i pass.“
A bit surprised, but accepting, Salrie continued his way to a hole in a wall, that hides a stairway, further down:“ That´s the way to my workshop. I made something special for you Koron. Let us go down.“
And so they went down the wooden stairs. Koron was wondering, what kind of things could a dragon like Salrie craft?
Down at the workshop it was very clear. Weapons and and artistic ornaments. Salries workshop is a well equipped blacksmith. Decorated with various artistic weapons of all kinds. Here and there even wooden works. Wait, does that mean:“ You made a weapon for me?“
Salries smile got bigger:“ You are a smart little guy. Yes, it is a weapon, but a very special one.“
Salrie went to a leathery scabbard, that clearly held a sword within:“ As I was told, you heavily refuse the usage of firearms and your long range attack are on a league of there own. Your claws are up on a legendary status. But your defense suffers from being barely able to block with your claws and bare body, so maybe this could help you out a bit.“
The dragon held the scabbard towards Koron. The black sword handle, peeking out of it in Korons reach:“ Draw it Koron, it is yours.“
Koron was never that fond of holding any kind of weapon, but there was something about this sword, he never held it but yet he is already feeling a connection to it. He puts his paw around the handle and drew it out of the scabbard. The blade showed an intense red color and was surrounded by very sharp, black edges. For a short moment, Koron had the feeling if the sword was absorbing a part of his power to synergize with him. The handle felt very good on his pads and Koron began to swing it around a little. It was very light, or at least he felt this way due to his strong arms:“ I would like to test. You got a training room or something?“
Salrie puffed up his proud chest:“ Of course i got one. You can try out your sword as much as you want. I better pick one up for myself, to show you one or another trick.“
Salrie grabbed a worn out training sword and they both went outside, past the grotto, which Koron made a long bow around. Salrie was still wondering, about the water shy Buizel, but he kept it for himself. Not far away from the cave entrance was a training field, with dummies and targets and even a battle ground:“ Alright Koron, before you start swinging your sword around. Show me your standard pose. Your sword stance can tell a lot about the wielder, so choose carefull, to not show any unwanted weaknesses at the start.“
Koron looked at the sword in his right paw, it was double edged, unlike his claws which only had one sharp edge. He actually never thought about a battle stance, he was just doing everything he felt was natural. But now he was holding an artificial weapon, which obviously needed a lot of training to be properly handled... Now he got it:“ How about this?“
Koron held Ex-destiny to his side and losend his grip on it a bit, so it pointed angled down to the ground. The buizels proud chest was swollen and his head tilted down a bit, so that his eyes were half covered by his hat and his grim looking eyes, gaves his opponent in front of him an angry look.
Salrie took a closer inspection on Korons stance:“ Hmm interesting... A provoking stance, that gives your enemy the ffeling you are not taking him serious, what could make him aggressive and mindlessly attack you, or the opposite, to underastimate your weak defense on this stance.Still a bit shaky on the legs, but with enough practice, you will sure make a good swordsman or pokémon for that matter.“
Koron blushed a little under Salries compliment, but then he noticed something odd on the sword:“ Huh? Salrie, what is this button doing?“
There was a little button on the handle of the sword, And Salrie made a chuckle:“ Push it, if you dare. Hehe.“
Koron didn´t even hesitated and pushed the button immediatly. And what he saw astonished him. The sword suddenly turned into a whip and Salrie chuckled again:“ Yes Koron, the sword is just like you. Able to fight in close and long range.“
Koron prssed the small button again and the sword turned back into the normal form:“ How is that working? It´s almost like i press a magic button.“
Salrie waved his hand around while trying to explain what he did with the whip sword:“ You know, it´s kind of hard to explain. But it has basically something to do with worked in chainlinks, some mechanical stuff and maybe a liiiiilte bit of dragon magic.“
The black Buizel swung the sword around, still having an analytic look on it:“ Well I thing it is better to focus on one part instead of trying to master both at the same time. And i think it is better to start with the sword. So tell me about on how to properly wield a sword. I don´t want to look like a flailing idiot.“
That was the clue Salrie was waiting for. He waved around his training sword and smiled:“ Alright Koron. Time for your first sword lesson.“
And thus Koron began his first basic sword traing. Swinging, stabbing, blocking, parry and even some taunting. Until the sun was going down and got close to touch the horizon. What koron noticed as he looked up into the orange sky:“ Oh man the time! I better head back to my car as long as there is still sunlight, but at first i need to stash away Ex-destiny. I hope it works.“
Salrie felt a bit embarassed and scratched the back of his head with light shame:“ Sorry about that. I didn´t knew how exactly big you are, so i didn´t made a scabbard for your sword.“
Now it was Koron who was smiling, now it was his time to show some of his magic. He held the sword in his right paw and went with his left paw over the blade. He needs to fully synchronize with the sword. Sharing his god of destiny power with the weapon. For some reason it felt very intense and suddenly, Poof! The sword vanished into thin air. Salrie had to take a step back at this sight:“ Woah. What happened with the sword?“
Koron smiled and made a wink toward the big white dragon, and then he summoned the sword back up in his paw:“ That´s a liiitle bit of my own magic, hehe. But now i really got to go. Thanks a lot for this gift, buddy.“
The sword vanished once again and Koron jumped against Salries muscular chest, to give him a hug. The dragon enclosed his arms around the hugging bui, to share some affection. As they ended the hug Koron flew up into the air and flew away back towrds his beloved car, leaving Salrie alone, who looked at the upcoming night sky for a little while:“ Heh, Koron is one interesting little guy. I could feel how he was not reaching for the stars. He wants to make his own.“
