There are some Next Mutation fans still left out there. I happen to be a new one since I never got around seeing NM until this year. I thought I wouldn't like it at first due to all the negative feedback I read on the net, but I found out I actually liked it regardless what others said.
Raph and Venus together is a pairing I like best over Leo and Venus (it's ok, but too cliche).
I have a UK friend on DA who uses UK terms which confuse me sometimes. I'm having the same thing going on here now with you, to the 'why she isn't as bug', what does that mean exactly? I'm a USA person trying to learn UK terms so I can better understand my UK pals ^^;

Peter Laird thinks that they are related (from how the story is told) and he hates Venus (believing it's incest). So Venus is banned from the official site of TMNT. The Next Mutation version is BANDAI's idea of how things are with TMNT, Laird doesn't care for it at all.
some people are just extremist to see it that way, i mean they were raised by totally different people, and in reality, they are animals. so animals do all kinds of incest am i right?! but children(neither would i if they did bring her back) dont think that way so they shoulda brought her onto all the series( my opinion).
Yes, very true. Animals can do incest (and do it regardless, they don't care or even know either). I don't think it's incest because their shell patterns are different. The boys are the same, but hers is very different (I think she's a diamond back turtle, they are red-earred sliders- <-- the boys being RES is officially true too). Laird sees his characters more as people, so he holds them to people's standards of such things.
I think he's more open to different species pairings (whether it be like how Sonic and Princess Sally are - hedgehog X squirrel or human with turtles)- that's ok to Mirage, from what I can tell from their works.

I used to know more of the Fred Wolf films 80-90's cartoon version of them, but recently came in tune to the original comic version of them this year and that's the version I base my fics off of. ^_^
I figure since the Turtles are part human, they would naturally lust after human women (and turtles are as carnal as rabbits so they're pretty naughty in that field). Seeing them on TV and from the rooftops, I'm sure the Turtles would love to get their hands on some pretty women being the naughty critters they are.
