Just wanted to do a more interesting angel than the usual, hence the androgyny (why should angels be obviously either gender?) and the script-as-feathers.

I cannot express in glowing enough terms how much I adore your unique take on these concepts, and yes, especially the angel.

It has been a very long time since I studied such things, but I seem to remember something about the angels having neither gender, so rock on. IMO it's the neater of the pair, but the devil is pretty interesting as well.

Angels in traditional stories haven't got gender or subtance, hence this is approved by the local mystic.
