FYI The banner is not based off of the Movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, mainly because Ive never seen it and had no idea what it was about until yesterday. LOL

definitly the best banner in a looong time, Macroceli. I love it a ton. Its more because of the mood than anything.. its saying "despite the craziness Im gonna make it just fine" to me right now. Im glad for that. Thanks for givin us something to see and feel better for this month :3
1967 Pontiac GTO, GTO stands for Gran Turismo Omologato, and his maker was none the less, John DeLorean (who could create the DMC company, and the DMC-12 car on 1979). The GTO was the first muscle car ever known, and it was substituted by the Firebird and later the Trans-Am.

...Are you telling me NO ONE has pointed out that the entire MOVIE was pretty much a massively long drug binge? Cause like, that's what Dr. Gonzo (Or, Dr. Hunter. S. Thompson) did. He studied the effects of, well, pretty much every illicit drug he could get his hands on.

Really? I think the only thing that seemed overboard was the kid at the con (I've never meet a fur that was all growl and bite at a con) and when furs have fursuit sex.....they don't have special bars they can go to XD Though they are not above using the hotel rooms they stay at XP

Having just driven across the US from Pittsburgh, PA to California, a bunch of the CS crew and I got to drive through gorgeous parts of Colorado and Utah. It was BEAUTIFUL, and this banner brings me right back to it!
Very nice sunset background. AWESOME colors and shading on the car. Nice touch making the FA road sign with the shotgun-grazed corner.
it hits that F&LinLV mark you were aiming for, and also kinda gives it that "Summer's almost over" feel, which I find nice.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multicolored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drug collection, your tendency is to push it as far as you can.
Awesome work, probably one of my favorite banners of all time. Love the GTO! Even if it wasn't inspired by fear and loathing I still can say, "There was only one road back to L.A. US interstate fifteen. Just a flat out high speed burn through Baker, and Barstow, and Bardue. Then onto the Hollywood freeway into frantic oblivion, safety,obscurity, just another freak, in the freakdom."
