Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw: Quidditch
It was match day. Matthew was feeling quite nervous about his first time on the pitch. He earned a spot on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team as the seeker. It meant a lot to him, but it put a lot pressure on his shoulders. Especially because his boyfriend was the new Gryffindor seeker for that year.The teams lined up to the gate with Luke and Matthew at the front. The husky looked at his lover and noticed he looked worried. "Hey, are you okay?" He asked the wolf, a little concerned. "I-I'm just a little nervous..." the silver canine responded in a shy tone. "Aww, sweetie..." Luke patted his back, trying to comfort him. "It's just a game. No matter what happens, you just gotta think this is only for fun. Give it your best shot." He said enthusiastically with a smile on his face. As he finished speaking, the wolf smiled at him before giving him a kiss on his cheek. The gate in front of them finally opened and the sunlight shined down the hall as the players straddled their brooms, getting ready to take off.The players flew out of the gate and onto the pitch as the large crowd surrounding them started to cheer, watching the two teams fly around the towers like they're obstacles as the announcer started speaking into the microphone. "Welcome Hogwarts, to the first Quidditch match of the season! In today's match, we'll be watching the first two teams go head to head this year, Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw!" After a moment, they all surrounded the center, creating a floating tower of them as they looked down at the referee on the grass. "Now I want a nice, clean game from all of you!" She shouted at the players before opening the chest and releasing the golden snitch. The two silver canines looked at each other while they were at the top of the tower of players, smiling at each other and nodding to wish each other good luck while the snitch flew around them and swiftly fled. Finally, the referee grabbed the quaffel from the chest and looked up at the teams watching her every move before chucking the big, red ball high in the air as the announcer spoke again."The quaffel is released...And the game begins..."____________________________________________________________________I.
