Sketchbook 119: Bow to the King

Bow peasant! Bow to your King Koopa!
Bowser is another one of those characters that I love but don't draw that often because it's hard to draw him. But I had this idea in my head and really wanted to do it so I tried it and I'm very happy that I was successful.
There are multiple things that I made drawing this a pleasure. First of all, it's Bowser and I freakin' love him. Second, trying out muscles was interesting and enjoyable, though I need more practice. Third, he's a reptile and I've found I like sketching them, mainly because of the scale spots I tend to add. Finally, there's the fact that I shamelessly included a foot-shot.
Looks like he's commanding his subjects to appease him. Don't want to keep the king waiting :P
Overall, I like all the attitude that he has because of the pose.
