So, fun news
We got this comm in a rough part of our life, when we were starting to pull out of something that had been very damaging
In the time since, we found that people really could care about us, we found we were trans, we found friends, we found having someone closer than just friend, we found that we have DID and are plural >.< and we then started to finally untangle the huge mess that had been left behind, leading to a year of disassociation and months of time lost to letting others from the past front and share, and much more time processing.
Today we finally figured out the biggest part of all of it and find peace, happyness, and safety for the first time in some 15 years (fun hint, we are 25)
We had a friend ask us about the inspiration for this image again today and I came back to look at it in detail again. This is exactly what we needed to try and capture how we felt, and looking back now its a crazy realization of how far we have come in 6 years >.<
