Anyway, a little background on this character. This is my Pokémon oc Charla, yes she is named after that one female Charizard from the anime. Charla was my or Red's starter pokemon in Pokémon Fire Red. Now a bit on her backstory:

Charla was born a wild Charmander and lived with her mother and maternal grandfather when she was a young child. The little family lived happily, that is until Team Rocket came, and killed or captured Charla's family. Charla fled and as she wandered aimlessly, she came across Professor Oak or one of his aids and was brought to the lab. There she remained until her adult years. She was then picked by Red to be his starter pokemon, and when she was given the name Charla. Eventually over time she evolved and became a Charizard.

Now Charla's personality can be considered a mixture. She is a tough sort, very skilled in battle and able to hold her own. However, she is very friendly and easy going. Out of Red's pokemon, she is considered the leader and is very loyal to her trainer. In case you are wondering, that is a piece of charcoal that she is smoking. You see, Charla picked up that trait from her grandfather, who regularly had a piece of charcoal in his mouth. Charla's grandfather was a trained Charizard whose trainer was a smoker, so Charla's grandfather started smoking charcoal to emulate him. He was eventually released where he met a female charizard and started a family. Charla uses charcoal as a way to honor him as her grandfather was her only male influence in her life.

Charla gets along well with all of Red's pokemon, but the two she get's on best with is Raichu and Draco the Dragonite. Raichu was a childhood friend of her's and the pair often got into misadventures and mischief. One such mischief was when Raichu (who was a Pichu at the time) and Charla got into some fermented berries and got quite drunk off of them.

Draco is a male Dragonite that becomes Charla's rival for the spot of leader of Red's pokemon team. Though over time, Dragonite starts to respect Charla and gradually falls in love with her. Eventually, he and Charla mate and they produce at least one son named Coal.

Well that's the story I have planned for her. Maybe one day I will flesh this out with a fanfiction?
