At one time, Guyver could have been considered the very definition of a Taekartan soldier. Loyal, disciplined, and deadly. When the war with Malivia began, however, he changed...
His desertion came as a complete surprise to his superiors, and attempts to bring him back were met with violent resistance. They said he turned his back on his own race; he replied THEY did it first with the war. He had become a sympathizer for Malivia.
Guyver is vehemently against the Taekartan military, blaming them for the War of Shadows that started the Malivian war in the first place. Through a bit of personal research, he even began to learn of the possible existence of the R-Force. The links between these mysterious operatives and the Shadows that sparked the war were too close to be coincidental; they HAD to be the ones behind it all. Malivia saw him as an obvious choice in their mission to take out the R-Force. When offered the chance, he refused payment, saying, "Bringing these traitors to justice is enough of a reward."
He is a cold-hearted, ruthless soldier with no patience for hindrances to his mission. Even without peripheral vision, he's a crack shot with any weapon he gets his hands on. No one knows exactly what happened to his left eye, nor has anyone seen him without the eye patch. That fact, coupled with his flawless accuracy made the nickname "Dead Eye" all too perfect.

This... was a challenge.
A species I've never drawn before, unorthodox proportions, large musculature, guns, guns at odd angles, frontal perspective, a pattern...
I hope it looks okay here, for a first time :P This character is also a challenge to write, because when character NEVER misses, I have to come up with other ways for his opponents (the heroes) to survive an encounter with him.
