There is a rule of sorta around Atlanta.. If it did have a wing and doesn't now.. Not a good idea to mess with it.. Cause you'll get your feelings hurt.. Bad..

It is a trend in the atlanta area to take wings off cars to turn them into sleepers (cars that dont look fast but really are). That is all. like my car 4 door saturn stock fast or faster than a stock civic hatch in a 1/4 mile track. My car is a sleeper who suspects a saturn to be fast and a four door at that.
When people loose to an ordinary looking car it creates more of a "WOW" factor. Plus the facial expressions are priceless.
Personally I do it cuz evrryone knows a civic can be fast. Car guys can tell what engine swap you have done by the sound and times you make because evryone had done it (it is common to tune civics); on the other hand nobody expects as Toyota Paseo with an engine swap or built engine running nos "no boost" to give it away that major mods have been done.

Heh, I have 10 year old Super Street issues. I keep thinking about how Ricky Chu had such a nice blue S14 and got on the cover of the mag, and then later on ended up being part of the company. I just peeked at the latest issue, and laughed. I remember when Johnathan Wong was the mag's FNG, and now he's the Editor in Chief. Crazy stuff.
Irony is, I have one next to me from December of '98, and one of the articles is a test drive of a last-year Supra. Looking through the thing, "the more things change, the more they stay the same" fits so well. The S13 is the current Civic/Integra-type craze, HIN was fresh and new, Import Showoff was a big deal(I wonder what Ken Miyoshi's up to these days), street culture 'n DJs and hoochies are big parts of things, and heh, 10 years ago, 10-second quarter-mile times were amazing.
I really need to get into writing. Really do.

After seeing lots of styled and pimped supras i still think a slightly lowerd supra with orginal body kit is still best looking, if one of corse change the rims.
Fun history about the supra wing is that they looked on the ferrari F40 and got insperd of that in the prosess of making of the car.
