For those who are not familiar with what happened between the last page of chapter and now, in the game, after you return the Krazoa Spirit to it's respected shrine, you warp back to Thorntail Hollow, or where Krystal is now, via the big Warpstone guy.

Though the audience knows if they've seen the original Star Fox Adventures what happens, the readventure doesn't explain what is happening in the art from that point to this page. At least, I don't think it does. Plus Krystal going from looking battle damaged to the spiritual mental state Krystal to this appearance.
