I did this in 2004, its amazing sometimes to look back at my old stuff and how much i have improved. I love this peice alot, the feeling of it is still very powerfull to me and i try to mimic the same feel but never have been able to quite get this feel since. I use the lantern from this pict on my bussiness cards and it will be on my website when i get it up and running. I suppose if anything he is a goat.

The poem that goes with this is:
We are the keepers of the flames, of memories and lives gone past.
We shine light towards the future so that the new might grow in the light of the past.
We are the ones who remember, the ones who pass on knowlege to the little ones.
We kindle hope, experience, and the fragile memory of innocence.
We are the light in the darkness to help others carry on.
We will remain forever, waiting for those who need us to find us, here in this dark place of the world.
