So, a player mechanic in my game is called "Oathlink" which directly connects an Annex with their Harvester, allowing the summoning and control of elemental powers beyond mere mortals. Although this blade "Way Splitter" was found while adventuring in a dungeon, the leveling systems with weapons in my game allowed it to carry forward, evolve and eventually become a connection for Gripp to the Harvester that ultimately contracted her.
