Could give him a full clean like only a tounge can do. Some places are just hard to reach on one's own.
One thing i suggest is a safety harness for the small one, connected to a collar on the macro.
Or for the more adventurous micros and macros, could invest in braces that have safety harness tie ons, even full restrain, so micros can remain in mouth, but without fear of teeth, think about it like a squirrel storing something in cheek. This option allows for a few micros in the mouth at once. It also makes brushing teeth a two fold, cleaning micros and your teeth.
