Awww... I live in Orlando myself. God, I love Florida. (Yes, I have been to other states. I prefer the land of my birth.)

I know, the weather is awesome and I loved going to the beach (I was in the JAX area during my short stay). And now I come back to the state of my birth and it's becoming winter. :P I try to get away, but it keeps pulling me back in!

Heh, can't stand cold weather myself. I swear, I'll never live above the 30th parallel if I can help it.

Well, I hope that one day, your fortunes will change and you may once again seek warmth and beachy goodness in the Sunshine State. :)

Then again I'm going to be leaving florida soon myself. My mate lives near St. Louis and it is easier for us both if I move in with him.

I've driven through St. Louis twice now. No offense, I'm sure it's a lovely city, but god the freeways suck :P

I live in Florida, but soon, I'll be moving to Vegas. I can sort of relate I think, but I myself nee to get out of Florida for simliar reasons you've left. The rent is too high and I need a job. Both of which Florida's got some KO problems with.

I've been searching for a job since I was able to work and still haven't been hired by anybody.

On top of that, there's nowhere me and my family can move to. Everyone's in the 1000s for rent around where I live for a 3 bdrm house and it's tight quarters even with 3 bedrooms for my family.

The only thing I can say else is that I'm going to miss my friends and the familiar grounds of Florida. I've lived here for so long along the gulf that I've managed to memorize three cities now.

Though I wasn't truely born into Florida, I lived here for as long as my memory traces to my infancy. Lived in Florida since I was 8 months old to this very day. I'll miss it.

I feel ya there. Can't get a job here in mississippi so I'm packing up and moving to Alabama where there're better jobs.
