That story about your first G-shep Montag kinda reminds me of what happened to my first cat Gary, before I got Arthur, from that same year.

I've had him since 2001 but it wasn't until 2003 when we moved from Mansfield to Spring, TX in the south where he ran away the day after we arrived at our "then-new" house that time and haven't seen him since, unfortunately, we didn't bother putting up signs about our cat gone missing since we were too busy moving all our stuff into our new house.

I still don't know whatever happened to Gary since he ran away (probably because he wasn't getting used to our "then-new" location that time )but I have a feeling he might've passed away in either 2015 or 2016, who knows?
