I feel I need to provide a little blurb on my motivation behind songwriting...it'll only take a sec.

So, my fictional band, The Supreme Foxes, are essentially an outlet for me. Working on and developing the characters and storylines provide me with a pretty good excuse to write music.

It's a complicated concept, but it goes something like this:

In the fictional world, "The Look of Eyes" is a track off of the Supreme Foxes' 1980 double LP, "Shimmer". Kevin and Lamont Fox share the lead vocal, and the song was written in 1979 by band member Kyle Johnson.

In the real world, "The Look of Eyes" was written by me.

Having that fictional backstory motivates me to write more music, for some reason. I can't really explain it, but it's like I'm writing songs for them and for me.
