Kerrigan. A vampire. His appearance can shift from a youthful adult, to an aged warrior, or to the skeletal terror of a vampire master. He is at once both a solo hunter of tainted blood, seeking prey worthy of judgement, and a Lord who commands his own castle and clan.
I haven't written a short character description for him yet, as I only recently gave him his name, but I'll put an excerpt here from the vampire lore I put together for my fantasy project:
Those who have been infected by vampirism are stricken with a curse that renders them both alive yet not alive. This paradox is further enhanced by mystical powers such as inhuman strength, speed and even invisibility. Once considered nobles of the land, the remaining vampire lords live within their castles, enjoying a neutral relationship with the kingdoms, so long as they ensure their vampiric kin do no harm to those under the kingdoms’ banners.
Mostly Polytheistic in their beliefs, "young" or "fresh" vampires may carry with them the religion they had prior to their becoming vampires, while most older vampires set aside their past religions in favor of ancient vampiric beliefs. Most vampires acknowledge the moons as being tokens of their gods: they believe the crimson Bloodmoon is representative of the god of life (the feast), that the white Silvermoon shines on behalf of the god of light (order), and that the black Shadowmoon is of the god of darkness (chaos). Vampires will often find themselves drawn to worship one of the three, and be guided by the ideals of that token's representative god. Those of the Feast seek to perpetually feed, eventually becoming feral vampires. Those of order seek to live their existence in relative peace, while those of chaos seek to inherit the world for their own corrupt aims, often commanding feral vampires for that purpose.
Kerrigan is a vampire who struggled between being a vampire of order or darkness, until eventually accepting the Silvermoon as his guide, and following the more honorable path. Though not necessarily "good", he has a stronger sense of morality than many other vampires.
In other news--OMG, I UPLOADED, AND THE BURLY DUDE IS WEARING A SHIRT?!? WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY 2018?! WHERE'S THE BARA!? Don't worry! I was pretty busy doing my own thing during the holidays, and because of that I wasn't really able to put out any holiday-themed or even just regular bara stuff. I think I'll start doing holiday-flavored work along with regular bara stuff, but it's going to have to wait until I'm not as busy, sadly!
