Baking. If there's one thing that's pretty close to the Christmas holiday, it's baking. Cookies, pies, cakes, tarts, brownies. Other confectionaries. That kind of thing. Such tasty, sweet things that make the mouth water and the blood-sugar levels skyrocket. And of course I asked my friend Darin what he wanted to bake for Christmas. 'Snickerdoodles!' That was his singular answer. And so we baked. And baked. And baked. Hours passed and the sun set, then rose again. There were dozens. Then hundreds. Then thousands of cookies. The kitchen was filled to the brim. We had to start storing them in the living room; the dining room. My god, why doesn't he stop? The cookies... they continue to come from his hands to the trays. Hours have turned into days. The baking, it doesn't end. He smiles, perpetually making little perfect balls of dough that he's placing on baking sheets and handing them to me. It's been months now and I cannot think of anything else but Snickerdoodles. They snickerdoodles only snickerdoodle. Snickerdoodle snickerdoodle snickerdoodle.

This is a great one, made by my good friend Unimpressive! Despite his name, his artwork is always amazing and it was great to get an appropriately themed holiday picture for the holiday. Even if I'm posting it like two weeks late. Cough.
