Kiya inherited her shapeshifting powers from her papa Dee, so she can also get up to the same remote-shapeshifting shenanigans that Kree and Dee get up to.

She decides to make Uncle Kree look more sluggy, like her!

Interesting thought now though...when they both have that ability, shouldn't he be able to do the same with her? Wouldn't their abilities cancel each other out?

In theory yes, but her willpower is probably strong enough in this context to keep him "stuck" in a sort of shapeshifting arm-wrestling contest :P

Hehe, I see. He is probably too freaked out and surprised that he has been turned into a slug to concentrate enough to withstand his daughters powers. Makes all sense.

She's his niece, although really he's more of an honorary uncle, since Kree and Dee aren't brothers by blood. Dee just decided to be Kree's doppelganger and mooch off him, so he's sort of an adopted brother :P
