well it applies to me though, as i much prefer random scenes to familiar ones (unless of course the 'familiar' ones are on my 'alien/future' worlds)
(i even try to radomize somewhat what i create when i dive into them. and even in the physical world that surrounds us, perhaps here especially, i prefer the odd industrial backyards an often unexpected bits of nature in odd places one sees from a train, to the constant barrage of the irritatingly familiar displayed to drivers and passenger of automobiles on major roadways)
but then, i guess that's my own, a little bit differnt way, of being 'not quite human'.
