It's a New Year, so I figured I'd make an update.

I've been busy with art shows, gallery openings, surgeries and the likes. It's been nuts. I missed my own opening for this piece and another just after Thanksgiving because of randomly having my appendix removed after having had two spinal procedures done.

Anyways this piece titled Insecurities is from my Senior Thesis. It is a self portrait.
For lack of explanation, it's a project forcing people to reevaluate their mindset, focusing on the things we hate about ourselves and highlighting them in a manner that obscures the original negativity towards the subject matter.

I'm at least alive and around for now. I can't promise I'll still be around (in any manner of speaking) but I'm trying my best despite the hand I've been dealt. I've been trying to continue working on things, even when I don't post them, to curb the never ending depression, and in general just to distract myself from life.

This is a photography work incorporated with watercolor paintings.
