A fresh coat of paint for the new year...

How we doing everyone? Hope last night didn’t kick your ass this morning too hard! Here is a little run-down of what I have planned with year, as well as commission details a few of you have been waiting for.

Personal To-do List
-More personal artwork- I need to have more faith in my own ideas, which means more Lysithea and Jupiter Moonrise, more Dahlias, more Ampage and Ester and Pokemon
-Less gift art- As much as I love doing stuff for other people, I need to tone down how much I do, my ‘to-do gift art’ was getting out of hand at 80+ people…Don’t worry, there are still pictures I want to draw for some very amazing people, but I will probably save them for birthdays and the like!
-Continue to fine tune my process and improve my artwork- I have begun to see an upturn in how fast I can work, this is good for me as I have always wanted to do things like ‘Ask my OCs’, recently I feel I am able to do so without squandering my levels of quality.
-More simple art- I need to stop with the big pictures, the longer I work on something the more likely I feel like the quality drops off as time goes on. My favourite recent pictures have all been simple ideas!
-Stop worrying about other artists- I’ll never be like those I admire, and that is okay. I don’t need to earn the attention of those I consider great, they will notice me when the time is right. I will achieve what I want, but I will do it my way with my own two hands.

Artistic To-Do List
-Start ‘Breeding Protocol’ comic by 2019 (Good luck with that…)
-More Lysithea and develop the world of Jupiter Moonrise
-More Dahlias and develop the world of Dicearia
-More Ampage, Ester and Team Paznos
-Attempt an ‘Ask my OCs’ with Lysithea (Esti. Feb 2018)

Commissions

I have been thinking about this for awhile now, as well as hearing what people in similar situations have said about commissions. The thing is, I’m not really hurting for money right now, I only really did commissions because people were adamant about paying me to draw for them.

Personally I find it hard to work on a picture that I don’t have much personal investment in, not to mention the stress of providing a product worth what is being paid for. There are however some really good friends of mine who have been listing some great ideas they have no problem wanting to commission me for.

In this case, I have decided to open commissions for the new year as previously planned, however I will be imposing some rules to make this a more easier process for me.

-All commission business will be done though my art email which can be found on my commission detail pages, all other commission requests will be ignored
-Nothing overly complicated- this goes for detailed backgrounds and exotic poses.
-No sequences- One picture per commission unless the sequence is minor at best (i.e. cumshot for a blowjob picture)
-The idea has to genuinely interest me- This will probably be the most controversial rule, as this may turn off a lot of people who have been waiting for me to open commissions. Like I said, I’m only doing commissions because you guys ask for it, and I want to be able to provide for my fans, but I also need to think about what I want to be doing with my art. Besides, drawing a picture with no personal investment is no fun and gives lacklustre results, and you don’t watch me for lacklustre results.

I won’t be open right away, but I will be allowing you to contact me though my email in order to try and secure a commission slot. Please don’t take it personally if I don’t pick your idea to draw, but I need to start thinking about my own interests as well as everyone else. That being said, I hope you guys do being forward some hot ideas!
