Even so, the serpent
has so recently spent
All of his time near to
one: and it's so clear who
Amaranth, his new beau
a beauty of a doe
Slender alabaster
Snugged tight by her Master
They watch many a spark
bursting bright in the dark
Vows are made twixt the pair:
for the year, they will share...
Everything.
Just like the year just past.
