Get it? Cause it's the Year of the Dog? Anyone?....Welp, the new year is upon us once again!
Wall, as far as Earth rotations go anyway.
Overall, this year from last year started off rough...and the year itself has been plagued with missed progress and innovation. And aside from a few surprise releases, there wasn't much this year that really made it memorable.
Well at least the new year might have some interesting stuff, right?
Erm, I suppose. RPG lovers will be looking forward to Kingdom Hearts 3, hopefully FINALLY. And Pixar lovers (who will be enjoying Incredibles 2 as well) will get a kick out of Pixar worlds FINALLY coming into the fold, such as Toy Story 2.5 and....by way of unsubstantiated rumors and images (come ON Square, just SAY if they're yours or not), Monsters Inc. as well.
For the gritty-er side, The Last of Us part 2. Oui, what a game that was...and now things are heating up with a possible revenge plot going on.
And, Darksiders 3 is finally coming, get ready for the, ahem...female Horseman of the Apocalypse.

I guess. And of course, probably bugging everyone in whatever worlds he goes to, there's also the possibly of Spyro getting his remakes.
Ooooh, I saw the holiday version somebody made!
Yep, if fan creators can make a hub world look that good, certainly Insomniac can...
Movie news, Master Disney (come on. they own Marvel, Lucasfilm, 21st Century Fox, and half the souls of human children) is going with it's Wreck It Ralph sequel....but hey, won't knock it, the original was GOOD...and the sequel going into the internet? Oh boy, that's either a hit or a catastrophe. Either way, it's something to see.
Lets see, what else is on my script....

Uhh.....Ready Player One...the nostalgia driven ride...which one day I will try to read the book of one day uhhh...
Fantastic Beasts 2...no contest there...
Avengers: Infinity War...ehh...maybe
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom....please don't mess up Blue guys...uhh...
Solo: A Star Wars Story...now I've READ Solo's origin story...so seeing this, I can make clear judgement for the extended canon-ers heheh.
As far series go....I'm a fan of multiple ones...but I guess the one that's coming soonish is the return of The Magicians. Good show, modern magic, modern people.
And also I hear Disney is making streaming series'. Something from Marvel (big surprise), something for High School Musical (Uh...why?).....
....and surprisingly enough, Monsters Inc. Uhh...wow. A Kingdom Hearts world AND a series? I'll place a bet that it's gonna focus on new characters rather than those everyone likes.
Ooooh....if that KH world is during the movie and Disney is doing the series....does that mean that...?
Yeeeaaahhh...Randall's probably going to be punching a lot of walls soon...so my advice is to keep your head down low...
Of course there are other smaller things to look forward to. But of course, everyone focuses on what to look forward to and seems to forget that...it's just another year. Good stuff happens, bad stuff happens. I just don't get why it's celebrated.

That's birthdays genius.
Uhh...the world didn't blow up?
Give it time. But I'll grant ya that one.
Essentially I guess new years are like potlucks. Take chances that things might turn out good. Doesn't mean they necessarily will, but hey, ya try.
And so, as we stare into the foreboding light of the new year, we hope it is one that will be easier to handle than the next.

It's good to hear Darksiders is getting another sequel, since I heard it was left on a Sequel hook (I saw it on a video about games that need sequels, along with Legacy of Kain (sadly the main voice actor died) and Psi-Ops (something I really want a sequel for)) Strangely, instead of Famine and Pestilence, the remaining two Horsemen are Fury and Stryfe.
It'll be nice if we get to see a Non-Skylander Spyro game, even if it is the classic version.

I sure hope that Infinity War lives up to the hype and isn't just spectacular because all the heroes will finally meet each other. Also that Monster Inc is a world in KH3 and its not just false news. KH3 also better come out this year.
