In my story, "New Animal Life", Merida, as a black bear, Elsa, as a white reindeer, and Moana, as a light brown sea lion, are paired with three of my OCs. Merida has Allister (Al for short), a brown bear adventurer. Elsa has Isaac, a red fire-powered dragon prince-turned-king. Moana has Kaiko, a brown sea lion voyager.
