Ive had a bunch of people ask me how i make my pics all fluffy like they are, well a while ago i whipped up this little lesson in the smudge brush technique i use in the gimp for a close friend depicting just a simple sky and a bit of flowing hair gracing a canid. it languished on my hardrive for a long while until recently when i ran into it while browsing my archives. i decided to touch it up ever so slightly, make the notes a bit easier to understand and here it is for your edification.
