I love these girls so much, you have no idea.

I enjoy seeing all the art you get of these two, You are one of the only people who actively use the characters I ever made and it may be silly but it makes me beyond happy.

Oh no, I totally understand that feeling. It's an amazing feeling when you see someone's awesome art of a char you made. I remember a few characters I made forever ago that had gotten adopted. I was touched to see the new owners commission pieces for them. <3

I have a lot of characters from others that I sadly have not been able to use or have only sketched and never posted and it always makes me feel so bad for not using them.
I would rehome them but most that I have are characters that have rules like "no rehoming, no reselling, no editing, no nothing" and you have to ask the creator of them that you wanna rehome them and stuff but even then it may be a no go or the person receiving the character also has to contact the creator too and i think it is beyond ridiculous because its basically not even your character if youre not aloud to do anything with it at all. It makes me super upset because they sit there and rot while they could possibly find a home that would really use them.
The creators would even hunt you down if you didnt follow strictly that and i had it happen and it is horrifying making me to never wanna touch the characters again which is poop. it shouldnt be that way.
If some one buys a character, its theres. They can name it, give it as many clothes as they please, change some markings, hair style. i mean come on, hair can grow, get cut and styled differently as well as they can change clothes and have personality too. i dont see why people hate that their characters get lives??

I get that. Personally I hate when people add that on as well. Can't resell is one thing. I don't like that you're telling me that I can't do anything with something I just bought from you, but I understand the idea is just to stop people literally buying cheap chars and selling them for profit. But that's not what happens anyway. Bottom line, if you sell a thing, it's not yours anymore. It's stupid to tell someone that there is anything they can't do with the character you don't own anymore. I got into an argument in notes a while ago with an artist that got pissy because I posted a piece they did for me. I know it's not the exact same thing but it's the same principle and it pissed me off to no end. It was my character, they didn't want their art posted anywhere but their own page. It ended up being taken off both pages because at that point I was disappointed to even be associated with them and now it's just sitting in my HD collecting metaphorical dust.
