Minecraft: Feywood Absol - Vastaya Ninetales - Foxfire Zorua
This will probably make some people sad but I no long intend on posting updates to FurAffinity regularly on my Minecraft modification. The development process has come to a complete stop after releasing a Beta version for Minecraft 1.12.2.
The reason for no longer developing the mod regularly, if at all, is awkward. Its because it clashes with my freelance illustration (furry work).
When I get really involved in modding, I love it. I love the thrill and challenge of programming. So much so that I get agitated/irritated with drawing. The drawing process, particularly shading/coloring, is dull and boring. Modding makes me not want to draw.
Well, unlike modding, drawing makes me $20 an hour now. To put that in perspective, my two REAL jobs only pay $10 an hour. Modding hurts a significant portion of my income.
With my mod, I have virtually no fame despite all the hours and years I've been doing it. I'm almost always being criticized by regular folks outside of FA for lack of content or asking me to add things. Because of that, if I am not playing Minecraft actively (which I am not right now), I have no beneficial reason to mod outside of fun at the expense of money.
As for this screenshot (which is actually from the 1.7.10 version of the mod), Foxfire Zorua on the far right here was to be the newest addition and was where the development process stopped. Zorua was originally the first tamable added to PokemonMD (the predecessor to Kindred Legacy) and ironically is now the last one to be re-added of the original six.
After Foxfire Zorua was to be the re-adding of the minor boss mob, Bloodmoon Ninetales.

This is the older version of the mod: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forum.....-10-beta-1-0-1
It's missing a lot of the current features though, especially for Tamables. But it does have Umbreon, Espeon, Sylveon, Ninetales, Zorua, and Litten in it. Plus the ton and tons of hostiles in it. Check it out if 1.7.10 can work for you. Otherwise any other version of Minecraft won't work.
This mod does work well with the Morph mod if you want to change you player model to any one of the Pokemon in the mod though. ^^ Most of the model animation testing is actually done with the Morph mod.

Thanks! I do take great pride in the modeling and animation. :D
When I feel like playing Minecraft again (I always come back to it), I am sure I will do some more work with it. Cause I never play Minecraft without my mod. ^^ (outside of a small venture I did with trying out Pixelmon)

I similarly find myself growing my business over anything else now. It's now only on rare occasions that I'd play a game, consider modding, or anything like that.
Besides, you don't have to mod Minecraft specifically. You could move on to some new fresh game with better customization options in the future in 2020 or something like that. Plenty of developers start the same way you do.
I similarly find myself working on my business over anything else these days, though I do dabble in leatherwork and heavy duty clothing to support my activities (i.e. trench coats, military style leather webbing, hats, any utility under the sun) as a recreation.
I wouldn't stress about it. I have a feeling that there's going to be a game superior to Minecraft in terms of ease and customization of modding, good physics, more efficient code etc. By the time that game comes out, you might be getting back into modding.

Hmm... that's true. There could be another game that comes along to mod.
The thing about Minecraft is that it was simple and I could handle it easily without large investments of time and effort into the modeling. It was all about the animations instead of model creation.
I wish you the best on your new business adventures. ^^

I only ever intended hostiles to never be tamed.
I MIGHT add a feature in the future where you "purify" or "literate" them from their "corrupt" design but even then, it still wouldn't be the hostiles. So like... cure the infestation of an Infested Deerling as a possible example. Bandersnatch Fennekin or Snow Sorceress Braixen also could be good for something. Those two would be the closest I have right now to being tamed outright if I did add a feature.
The closest to tamable hostiles I had actually planned were "Antlion Zerglings" (based on Half Life 2) but they would just use the Raptor Zergling models and they wouldn't be a permanent tamable, just a temporary or "summon" mob.
