when the lotus is away, the tenno party all day :D :D but seriously surprised me, I already figured that ballas asshole was still alive and even that he went for the grey path, aka a ton of nanite s saturating your body that constantlyr epair injuries and age damage but are so numerous your skin goes grey rather then the whole "mind rape the soul of some kid every few years for shits and giggles to get a new body" most orokin went for, even though the nanite approach was apparently frowned upon cause you don't look "as perfect" as with natural skin color.... but I never thought the lotus sentient and margulis after her execution actually fused to form a gestalt rather then the lotus imitating margulis to gain the trust of the tenno. THAT really floored me :O

And nope, definitely not, the Lotus (aka Natah for that moment) didn't borrow Margulis' body, the wiki says she COPIED her form, probably "emulated" her look somehow like a polymorph. And it's still confusing for me about how the sentients can do that and what are they actually. Are they some kind of a walking carcass like teralysts or actually human-like, or are they really a polymorphing creatures??

ahh sorry grey path is just a way how I describe it, most orokin prefer the yuvan theatre method where children abducted from regressed humans who went down the tribal path like some kind of space mormons regularily get taken, paraded trough the theatres where old orokin would bit on them, and then use continuity to take over their souls , pretty much murdering it. taking in all they used to be while transferring their own soul into the "new body" You can find out more about orokin society in the codex entries and the entries you unlock from hunting synthesis targets. Long story short. Ballas going "grey" shows how dangerous he is, he didn't just orchestrate a lot of the events in the warframe universe, but he is also willing to shun the vanity that became the orokins downfall to further his goals. This and their arrogance were the two major flaws of orokin that led to their demise, if he overcomes even one of the two let alone both, he's a extremely dangerous person.
