As far as not completely showing herself off- that is something I love to keep close to Arctic (minus the occasional nipple showing and when she is pleasing herself type images) but overall I like her to be a slight tease and keep that underlying classy style about her.

And a little insiders note: As for the color of her thong, it actually resembles the main color of this characters first mate, Vale, he originally established the whole 'hot spring' scenery for her- and it just stuck from there.

Light sources, and good backgrounds. You have two things going there. I hate backgrounds that are more overbearing than the image itself, or are in such close color coordination that the background and the characters in it become difficult to discern from one another.
