3rd part of the prologue! i feel like i am getting better at this, but if you have any criticisms that could help me improve, i'm all ears!
Hereth lies the story for those who cannot download it.
The sky was clear as ever, only a few clouds floating along. The wind brought a nice cool breeze as it flowed across the town, and it also brought cherry blossom petals from the huge tree in the center of town. Yet another lovely day for young Karla Kregast, the Bengal cat. “ahhh, I don't know if I could ever leave this town, it's so beautiful....” Karla was brought out of her trance by her mother's voice. “Karla~! Lunch is almost ready! It's your favorite~!” Karla instantly knew what was for dinner: Sushi with extra rice! Her stomach growling at the sound of food, Karla sprang up and began to rush back home, when she heard some moaning coming from the town square. Curiousty always tugging her to new things, she headed over to see what was wrong.
A crowd was gathered near an unfinished building, and as she got closer, she saw a Shiba Inu hunched over in pain. “i wonder what happened....” “i think he fell off the top of the building...” “Really? Something that mundane? Why can't anything interesting happen around here....” Ignoring the gossip, Karla made her way through the crowd and to the young man. She spoke in a calming tone as she said “Don't worry, I'm here to help, where does it hurt?” The young man, not really caring that a young girl was asking this due to the pain, responded “ooohhhhhh, my leg, my leg got twisted when I landed.....” Not waiting for the Inu to keep moaning, Karla instantly moved her hands towards the injured leg....and a bright light began eminating from her palms.
As the light began to envelop the leg, the injury started to readjust itself back to normal. As the man continued to moan, he started to notice less and less pain. When he turned to look at his injury, he was surprised to find none. “h-how did you-” But he was cut off by the crowd gasping in suprise at the miracle they just witnessed. “wow, did you see that?!” “The man looks right as rain again!” “how did this girl do that?!” The crowd continued to gape and ask as they dispersed, returning to their everyday routine. “i don't know how I am able to do this....i just can.” The man was taken out of his staring by Karla's voice answering his question. The inu got back up on his feet and composed himself. “well whatever you did, it save me. Thank you! Thank you so much!” The man kept thanking her over and over as he got back to work on the house. Karla was taken aback at this. Most of the time people just stare in awe and don't say anything, or they don't do anything at all. But that didn't matter right now. There was lunch to be had! Karla raced back home, tired from the moment before and ready to see all of her family....
