I only got to play that version of Contra once, and I loved the Wolf's tracking spread shot. It was great for so many bosses

Boss rush games are amazing. Check out Alien Soldier (JAP version) in case if you didn't already. If I remember correctly, the game contains 23 levels and each level is basically a boss fight, and bosses are very well made!
