... the entire rear foot is set on the ground, toe to heel.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plantigrade Notice that they even mention the rabbit. Granted, a rabbit -can- walk digitigrade, it's not real good for their toes, and will wear down the fur real bad.
