A follow-up to the last pic I did. This time, Lucca has found herself reduced to a plump little squealer. Who could be responsible for this? And how will our heros save all of time if they keep turning into pigs? Maybe Lavos will turn out to be alergic to bacon?
So, I have found that one element I used from Illustrator is missing: the gradient mesh tool. Fortunately, I haven't needed it yet, but those great underwater and space backgrounds I developed will be a lot harder to make without that tool. Still, the Affinity board say that that feature is something they're working on, so hopefully it will be there in the future.

D'aww, cute li'l Tepig piggy Lucca. ^_^ Nice job here!
I guess it's not too surprising; her name may not literally be mud, but ash mixed with tears basically is. Plus, swine are pretty smart critters and Lucca's at least as bright as the bomb explosions and miniature nova spells she throws around.
Though, on that note, I'm curious (if doubtful) about whether she can still use magic like this. Still, even if not, she's probably in the best position to get by as an oinker. I'm reminded of that Gravity Falls what-if segment where Waddles got super-intelligent and built a pig-to-English translation device voiced by Neil deGrasse Tyson. ^_^
Still, I'm very interested in seeing what project these are building toward. And what other CT changes might be around the corner. The Ayla-to-wild-boar notion above sounds awesome, but what of the rest of the team? Magus wallowing in something beside misery? Robo as pig iron? Crono bolting through a hog race? Glenn changing his alias to Pig? A plethora of porcine possibilities!
