ALNARD
The second one of the Five pillars of Ekdris.
Among the mortal folks, he is known as Reaper and is praised in songs as an incarnation of death and darkness. But indeed, Alnard is not that kind of deity. Instead, his major ability is the power to resurrect the dead ones. Maybe, such a mistaken belief appeared because he leaves Ossius and comes to the mortal world very rarely. The people started willfullying because of unawareness:
“The terror avatar came down to our world and poisoned it with his monsters…”

Alnard is the only one whom the All-Seer respects and talks about the urgent questions to. He doesn’t trust other Pillars that well. The "Reaper" himself treats his fellows as equals. However, the Weaver has an antipathy to him because he was indifferent about the War of Two Pillars and rejected her offer to join her side.
In addition, Alnard is a good demiurge who created about 15 species and almost surpassed Nriol in this.
An unbelievable wisdom allows him to weigh his decisions rationally and develop the high-level strategies. Thus, in 4093, in the battle against the Father of Dorgon, exactly due to him the gorgeous victory that saved the whole Ekdris was won.
As for his main advantage, the revival of the dead, it’s not as simple as it may seem. He is not able to bring the Pillars and deities back to life. However, his ability affects others, even the higher creatures and riders. But he just can’t do this constantly. This ritual takes lots of Alnard’s time and powers. He just doesn’t see the need to use this ability quite often, and that’s why he was accused of indifference to others’ lives without any understanding of the truth.
