Reference data for the Beast (Biosynthetic Enhanced Advanced Specalized Techanoid) units assigned in the pursuit for the fugitive Alice unit.
Model Type: Wunderkildren
Variant: Panzer Maus, Ext.
Purpose: Defense/Repair/Recon/EWAC
A new German model based off the PET (Personal Every-day-use Techanoid) Nurse types found in hospitals, these types are usually battlefield medics for the inorganic troops.
This unit, nick named "Squeaks" by her team mates, is an experimental design merge between medical and electronic warfare. Not built for fighting but able to utilize the shield units mounted in her forearms as a last resort. She is better suited to spy on enemies, hide from them, and repair her allies. Her tail is an experimental portable nanite injector which grants on the spot treatment repairs on inorganic units instead of having to take them back to bases for long overhauls. It also houses a large and powerful sensor array that can hack into any computer or satellite without being spotted, jam and mask radar signatures, and has access to high speed internet anywhere in the world. The suite can fold down when not in use.
The unit is quick and nimble and surprisingly can take it's fair share of damage without having to use it's shields.
Background information.
Squeaks is the latest addition to the team assigned by Artemis director Lawrence Ryder and works with the Kitsune, Wolf, and Lyger units. Shy, quiet and timid, she is intimidated by her team mates and their greater experience in the field. She doesn't like conflicts but will risk her 'life' to rescue others.
Before being upgraded to Beast status she was a rescue worker in Germany who helped greatly in saving humans who were trapped in landslides and building collapses. She was heavily damaged when saving a family in an over turned vehicle that caught fire, tearing it open to save the family before it exploded and severely damaging her while she shielded the family with her body. The damage was extensive and she was to be 'put down' but was spared that fate when Lawrence Ryder requested her.
Send to Artemis Weapons Systems, she was given an experimental body frame to replace what was lost as well as being upgraded from PET to BEAST status. She is extremely loyal to the Artemis director and will do what he asks regardless.
After being assigned to the team as their medic she was nervous about being the only non-predator type and was afraid of her team-mates. That was until the Lyger unit got friendly with her and snuck up behind her in a hug, causing her to squeak loudly, hence giving her the nickname. Afterwards she's gotten along well with the others and is the center of the Lyger unit's attention. Victim to many 'goosings' and 'nommings' from the feline and is quite unnerved when she get's groomed by her.
She also seems to be unsure about pursuing Alice. Unlike her team mates that attack the fugitive without regard, she tries to negotiate with her and find out why she escaped. Discovering the truth of the death of Alice's 'mother' makes her realize that there is someone within Artemis that isn't what they appear.
Likes: Reading, Cheese, thinking games, sleeping, hot showers, her team and master, helping others.
Dislikes: Fighting, hurting others, getting 'glomped' by the Lyger unit.
