I play Heroes V too much. Inspired by the demonic Inferno race, because rampaging evil flaming beasties beating each other up is just tres awesome.

Drew this out beautifully, then took it into Photoshop where I struggled unsuccessfully with the shading (his actual colouring looks nothing like what this suggests), tried out a combination of different techniques (read: made it all up as I went along), and finally sketched in a background as an afterthought because it looked too bland.

And actually, the final version doesn't look half bad considering how much crap went into it. :P

So anyway. Canine-equine-draconic combo, I think. Pencil, photoshop.
